My go to is an intricate cargo train network that connects all industrial areas in the city in some way to move cargo with minimal truck use. One of the major solutions is to offer a variety of cargo solutions spread throughout the city. In my first cities I had the same issue: I would unlock one of the big cargo stations, place it down somewhere, and the traffic would go nuts with trucks, planes, boats or trains forcing me to redo my entire road network around it. ![]() If you had issues with the cargo airport train station then likely your transport system was not designed well enough.
